so offshore project lead nunchi - > onsite coordinator ga vacha..ikkada vunna vaadu (tamu) india lo project lead ga elladu... evevry 2 weeks ki pager vachedi ikkada day time..bindaas life....but offshore time lo edanna sever issue vasthe, maa 2AM/3AM ki call chese vallu.....offshore time meedhi meere choosukovali ..dont call me anna...tamu vaadu dosth kadaa ani aadi chetha cheyinche vallu......onsite kotchaka 8 months lo jump...and working as a cotnractor since then...ee appam gallaki oka shell script rayandi raa ante, 7 lines code 3 days tesukuni, 2 lines (adi kooda boothu) ..maa valla katam ledu ani sepparu......I did it in 15 mins. glad that never had to work with offshore fully again. ippudu present company lo offshore vundi.....very good.....just email pampithe idi cheyyandi ani, next day morning ki detailed analysis tho email chestharu..in case they r stuck @ some place...tehy will send their findings...(I know they tried their best)...they r very good. if I am a onsite coordinator for this team, life will be smooth, since the offshore team is great. | ||

I worked in offshore / Onsite developer / Onsite Coordinator in the past. It all depends on the quality of people in your team / company. India lo team set up kelthe, already lagaan team ni ready chesi pettaru....okadu .net/inkollu java/itla bgms tho bench lo vunna vallani eri techaru.... Support functions ki OK. They might take longer time to own an application. But they can provide support during offshore hours. But development projects ki aallani vaadukodam verry difficult. naa technology lo design 80%, coding 20%. Most of the analysis and design is finalized in meetings. anthaa aipoyaaka. aallaki design explain chesi code cheyamane kante ... manam cheseskodam better kontha mandi character bad. they feel they are entitled to their job. nenem chesinaa naa jeetam naaku ostundi. edo okati chesi konni rojulu unte high salary ki jump lepachu ane thought process.most of them have problem in following conversations and running as fast as offshore resources. spoon feeding expect chestaaru. aa opika naaku ledu. | ||

I have worked with many off shore resources and most of them were very decent and humble.. ippudu work chestunna resource aithe adedo movie la potti prasad laaga 'meeru feel kaaledu kada, meeru feel kaaledu kada' types, antha humble and decent.... My wife used to work with a TCS resource on-site.. vaadiki no reporting manager, no off shore.. even though he is super knowledgeable maha rude... entha rude ante he used to talk to the users 'how many times did i tell u i am not going to do it' type rude | ||
