Bongaram: I dont see there is a 'mess' as of now.. It is just an apprehension that if the govt involves there will be a mess..
some times, it appears the most free thinkers/liberals are the ones who cant tolerate a dissent
I dont see the so called 'autonomy' brought a great success for IIMs so far. None of them are in Top 50 B-schools in the world*.
so, y not try something different? There are public institutes which performed btr than private or autonomous institutes and there are examples that shows the contrary.
so, its not the 'involvement' that matters but the kind of involvement that matters.
Seems like very weird take - any business proposition is evaluated based on anticipated benefits - either risk/cost avoidance thru resolving current issues or increased returns/ gains in results..
