Kerala is awesome and most tourist friendly place including foreigners compared to most of the places in India (personal observation of Kerala trip last December). Example: 1). Kovalam beach I see only 10% Indians 90% foreigners no beggars or any kind of trouble makers there. Foreigners are freely moving around. 2). House boat most safest in Alleyppy including to Foreigners. Boat crew members become security and see every guest including foreigners during night time. Overall in all the places I visited people don't even bother visitors by interacting with you unless ask for. Very matured people. | ||

Last year I saw few tells in Nepal doing biking (I mean cycling) in the mountains going towards Muktinath. One of my American friend is planning India trip along with his friend. He asked me about two places he is trying to visit Darjeeling (or) Kerala. I suggested him to go Kerala instead of Darjeeling. Can anyone know what places to visit for an American Tourist in Kerala? He was asking me the places to visit and logistics related information, but I have no clue. |
