There are similar startup incubator programs in some IIMs, IIIT in Bangalore. I think ISB too has a similar program. Basically they help in networking with the industry leaders and guide in some administrative, financial and legal matters. They provide office space, network connectivity, library access also at a relatively discounted cost compared to a company setup outside in a commercial building. Angel investors and venture capitalists, companies like Sequoia keep scouting in the tech conclaves for these startup companies. | ||
