Tappemundi, govt levies tax on every service provided for water, drainage etc. Street lights are added to that list.

But, if they take this tax and don't maintain the street lights well, aa dept employees makkelu iragathannali. If they add a clause to this order to fine a levy on the concerned dept every time there is a lapse in the street light maintenance, it will be better.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has done this first in the entire country - to levy streetlight tax on its citizens.
