Surrey cricketers Rory Burns and Moises Henriques, have been involved in a sickening collision while fielding in the NatWest Blast tie between Sussex and Surrey at Arundel Castle. Three ambulances and medics are in attendance and there is a fear of serious injury. Play was immediately suspended and the match is expected to be abandoned. The rest of the players have been taken from the pitch whilst the players affected are treated. The players clashed heads while running for a catch offered by Steffan Piolet off Tom Curran in the 19th over of Sussex's innings. As yet unconfirmed reports are that one of the players is receiving CPR which would indicate that one of the players could be unconscious. Henriques has put his hand up in an apparent signal that he is recovering as he has been stretchered into an ambulance. That at least indicates that he is conscious. Burns has also been carried by stretcher into a second ambulance.
