1. MLC teeseyochu because: a. It doesn't serve much purpose as it can't stop or pass any legislation, it can only delay. b. State governments have gotten too blatant about violating the principles of nominating MLCs under governor quota. Nayini Narsimha Reddy kooda governor quota lo qualify ayyadu! c. Some MLC constituencies like local bodies don't seem to serve any purpose. But RS is essential to ensure continuity in legislation and to act as check/balance government when a wave sweeps the nation and one party gets absolute majority in the LS. RS composition changes slowly. 2. CM, PM, Mayor ki direct elections okay kani cabinet ministers ki kooda ante kashtam...too much burden on the people to learn about them and judge them. It is better if the CM or PM can appoint as per present system. 3. Totally agree. In fact, all reservations should be removed. Let people elect whoever they want. No constituency should be restricted in selecting their leader based on caste or caste group (SC/ST/BC) or religion. | ||
