agreed.. but sendin application and the back ground work hospital chestadi... U also have an option where u can ask the office to mail it to you... u pay standard fees and u get it mailed to ur home | ||

Step 01 : Get the birth certificate from the local muncipal office Step 02 : Apply for SSN (No Need to apply , Hospital vallu apply chestaru , you should get SSN number in 3-4 weeks after discharge from hospital, If not just check SSN office) Step 03 : With birt crtft & SSN as identity proof, need to apply for a passport. Step 04 : Once US passport is issued, need to apply for India Visa (No need of Visa, unless you need to go immedeiatley, just apply for OCI ) Step 05 : Once I have visa, should I apply for PIO or OCI card ? (only OCI card, no need of PIO card ) | ||

NO need to apply for SSN. Hospital vaalu will take care of it u will get US Passport in two months and then apply for OCI. If u wnat tleave new born kid in India then take VISA as OCI will take around 2-3 months No Signature | ||

Friends, I need someone to help me understand what exactly is required for kids born in USA to travel to India... I am getting lost with so much information.
