But the issue is that to be OCI in process, you need to hand over the ORIGINAL PIO... how can you travel without PIO(and not paying $120 for Visa) ? | ||

These Indian government(or even private) paperwork is mindless. They list every kin and kith of the papers to be submitted regardless of its applicability for that particular task or not, even the conditions are also useless. They mark all of them MUST, MANDATORY, REJECTED, INCOMPLETE etc.. bastards ... For example: If you take any consulate work(any consulate), go to that Cox and Kings site, everything is listed as a must and must be notarized etc.. In reality, its not all required.. A notary is required only when you are submitting an alternative to the original. When you are walking in to submit an application, they can verify the copies of the originals and stamp as VERIFIED to avoid the notarization. This fact is never there on the paper work list. Also for example, for OCI in lieu with PIO, why the hell they need all the previously done PIO paperwork again? They just need to issue a new OCI card to the same address on the PIO card when the applicant submits the old PIO card. Even better is to just STAMP the old PIO cards as OCI cards to treat them as OCI cards. There are bunch of mindless morons around there to screw us. Thats one of the reason the Govt doesnt move forward, they can do a lot better things than screwing us around.. I hate those folks to the core for their mindless policies.. The real culprit gets the REAL card by paying cash and with no paperwork at all.. | ||
