I went thru the same with my daughter for almost 3 years. Started at the age of 1 month. hydro cortisone, Aveeno Eucerine cocunut oil... Tried everything. No use. Every time we went, the docs kept on increasing the steroid strength. It spread on her entire body, bleeding all the time. It goes away as skin matures(as kind ages). Also my kid had it in the early days, we have used the Hydrocortisone lotion(not OTC, but pediatrician has suggested a prescription). We have used it as we need(apart from our usual cetaphil cream after shower). The issue had gone away over a period of two years.. Idea is to keep the skin to be NON-DRY as much as we can. Dont worry, it goes away with time.. just nourish the skin as you need. | ||

First and the foremost - Don't assume it will subside by home remedies.. it might get worse so consult a dermatologist if u see no improvement... For home remedies - - Use Vanicream or cetaphil restoraderm for body(Do not use Aquaphor - Dermatologist's words) - Use Olive oil or Mineral Oil for hair - Use Cetaphil cleanser for bathing... this is very mild Most important - 2-3 days ki oka saari bath cheyyinchandi.. daily vaddu...
