Updates: I went to Kun Hyundai last night. Here's the deal. 1. i10 Grand Asta Automatic does NOT come with ABS or Airbags. They are not even optional features. You can't get them. That's it. On road price is 7.5 lakhs (14.5% tax bracket). Bluetooth enabled infotainment center. 2. Brio comes with both ABS and two airbags. But the music system is atrocious. No bluetooth connectivity. No phone integration. Offers USB/Aux though. No keyless start. On road price is 7.7 lakhs.
I am not changing cars. This is going to be my second car. Tax benefit 30% on EMI because EMI is deducted from pre-tax bucket. Also vehicle maintenance is reimbursed. Finally "maa laanti high salary people ki" - antha high salary ledhu bhayya... Naa experience ki naakocche salary chaalaa thakkuva compared to what the industry is offering today. In Asta it is an optional feature. If you opt you will get it even in automatic...check again. my parents bought one recently...i10 grand is pretty good. | ||

Both are more or less at the same price range. Brio comes with airbags/ABS and i10 doesn't. Both are traditional automatic. (not amt) Brio has a 5 speed and i10, 4 speed. From the looks of it, Brio seems to be the obvious choice. However, the following factors stand out. 1. Brio has an insanely dangerous back seat with the huge glass wall and the almost zero boot space. 2. Looks really crazy. Still leaning towards Brio as the car would be used mostly for city use.
