a small investment that I made in 2008. some 200 sq yds sold for 13 lakhs. Ameenpur 6 kms from chanda nagar. Buyer is a farmer from Tullur. 4 brothers own total 5 acres of land in Tullur area. They sold one acre for 1 cr and gave the remaining 4 acres for land pooling. The brothers got 25 lakhs each. The guy whom I got invested half in my land and is looking for a similar one around Hyderabad. He says that except a minority of people, every one is happy with the land pooling. Even the farmers who refused to give the lands are hedging their bets. They gave some acres for land pooling and with held a few saying that they won't give their lands. He said the farmers are eager to launch an agitation if the government doesn't do Land aquisition as it would appear as a punishment to them for obeying the government orders. They are very happy with the pooling episode 2+ years of 100% open source software usage... |
