Like so many other companies even NSL ventured into real estate in late 90s . They have a very large land bank in Hyderabad but they're bleeding in four of their projects due to high interest repayments. Uppal SEZ was in red till last year but has turned around similarly their mixed use project with divyasree orion in Raidurgam has been delayed so most of the promoters stake from this sale would be diverted to easy up the debt accurals of NSL infra. Miss kaledu, what you have not noticed is that most of the IPO is an offer for sale, only a very very small portion is primary fund raising (funding into the company). Offer for sale means promoters and investors selling their shareholding. So the Rs125 crores being raised is only the new money being raised by NSL, balance money is going to the pockets of the promoters and Blackstone. Surprisingly Blackstone is holding on to a large part of its holding while the promoters are selling a decent stake, partly to fund its other business interests. Rs125 crores - we do not know what additional equity this might get, at most 1-2% Offer for sale - here we know the stake, but not the amount being sold at. Yeah, i like the business..great market share, similar revenues as Kaveri but much more profitable. RONW 3 times as much as Kaveri, at close to 130%. Ihis is a awesome RONW. Hopefully they do not overprice it..more than 35 PE cheyakapothe better. | ||

Final ga DRHP release ayyindi earlier this week. Offer for sale by Blackstone and Mandava with some small fund raising into the company. March 2015 FY profits like to be around 270 crores (200 crores for the first 9 months). They have not indicated the price band as yet, Taking a 35 times PE (as Kaveri, Mahyco are trading around that), the likely value is likely to be around 10000 crores. Blackstone has around 10% stake, surprisingly Mandava has not diluted much over the years..still have close to 90% in the family. So his stake here is likely to be around 9000 crores. Of course, they have a bunch of other businesses not counted like Regen Powertech (43% stake), NSL Textiles etc which are big in themselves. |
