China's economic mode is built on slavery of their own people , denying their own citizens fundamental rights and neglecting environment. China's urban areas showcase their growth model where as their rural areas are living example of their failed economic model, their environmental issues display how imbalanced their approach was. we are so obsessed with China lately,because its easy to copy some one else model rather than create our own model as per our needs and requirements. Post bifurcation deficit... The most important infra dev that can and should precede economic growth is social infra - once that is in place growth will happen. So focus on education (primary and not higher, we got our priorities the other way around in our country), strong legal regimes, admin reforms, etc. And these do not cost as much, less than one big dam or SEZ... | ||

Both have to go hand in hand...one can't put one before the other. take the case of AP - babu is trying to make an undernourished and underfed state run a 100m dash, Ethiopians/ Kenyans marathon run chestharu kani 100m lo undaru... People say that China first put infrastructure and then growth happened...but that is not exactly true, for the first 10-15 years they went hand in hand, but once they started getting a surplus they have been going all out on airports, roads, ports etc. | ||
