Request a Records not found certificate(they do give a hell lot of pain right there to you for this also, but they should give as its the truth that you dont have a record of your birth for the requested date). Once done, pick up ANY person, who knows you (and above 16 years) at the time of your birth.(best would be parents, grand parents, teacher, doctor OR any relative or family friend but must be elder to you so that they can acknowledge your birth). Just get that affidavit notarized. TaDa.. Dont pay that Lanchagondi a single penny. Give that amount to a good charitable donation OR donate yourself to those who are hungry or need school fees etc. OR trash that amount down the toilet drain.. but dont give that LK. Regarding filing GC with out birth cert.. you are simply buying a delay by your own hands with this. Just submit with the documents. If you cant submit in time, proceed with the available docs and augment the Birth docs once you get them. DONT WAIT till USCIS issues an RFE. | ||

It works like this - 1)Go to MRO/RDO office where you were born and give an application if your birth was registered (which eventually is not) - clerk chetilo oka 2K pettu next day Non availability certificate ani isthadu. USCIS accepts this as a replacement for DOB certi along with parents affidavit 2)ledu 1-2 weeks time undi ante..go to MRO/RDO office and apply for DOB certificate..max 5K avtundi..pakka genuine certi istharu..all you need is your parents affidavit and one relative affidavit that you were born eg place time etc..telisina clerk unte 2-3 days lo pani avtundi FOr both the cases you might need to give them photocopies of passport/10th marks sheet as proof of DOB.. for my GC I have taken non availability certi "Opinions are like azzholes.
