If you plan to sell your cat at 40,000 miles than the extra 5,000 miles will impact the price. If you plan to sell or donate the car at 150,000 or 200,000 miles, then another 5,000 miles or 10,000 miles will not make any difference in price. | ||

Andaru AMEX insurance antunnaru... mana car ki insurance vuntundi kada and most of the times, depending on how you take your insurance, it covers any vehicle you drive. Isn't it ? Also, if you reserve the rental with AMEX, the insurance is also covered, right ? | ||

Once i declined insurance as Amex Covering Collision / Waiver 1. I was traveling with my 1st kid 4 months old 2. in a Bumper to Bumper scenario, while talking to FLAW, the front guy accelerated and came to dead stop and i collided with him 3. He left the scene as he is driving a rugged one. ################################### Then started my testing time of like in June Sun. I parked the car on the side and contacted all groups. Rental guy started crying that i should bring that back. I was away 80 miles from destination to LA. By Gods Grace i reached the destination with the same damage (radiator damaged). Parked in LA hotel Contacted all parties , Amex guy assured, he will take care of that car. I rented another car in LA that allows dropping in Phoenix Amex settled the whol thing for $2200, i paid $78 from my pocket So Never take any such risks after working till mid night on the day before  | ||

Driving one's own car is always the best and cheaper in long run. Once the car crosses certain mileage like 100K or 150K the resale price does not drop/increase much.
