There has been a lot of noise generated by "news" reports from people who know nothing about immigration law and procedure. I've discounted those and concentrated on the ones from reliable, knowledgeable sources. They seem to be unanimous in their conclusion that people who have approved I-140 petitions will be able to file I-485 applications and get all of the benefits of an adjustment applicant. That is, they will get EADs, advance parole, and the right to change jobs/employers six months after filing an I-485, provided they stay in the same or similar occupational classification.
