They started with connecting flights to all over and that is first good step... Yesterday announced new flight to Auckland also... Otherwise if we ask them to go Hyderabad and come then it becomes 3rd stop for many.... Also beach road started again....LED lights work started in IT areas.... Banks are opening soon and already new ICICI is coming... But IT not easy in this market and that too after HUDHUD....For us we know it was storm in 100 years but others they may avoid if they can if that work involves 24/7 critical support....Also the bad part was HSBC and others loosing support work for around a week...They had power generators but the broadband wasn't there...So underground cabling is the option to give confidence for an outsider... But for Incubation centers this is the best place and that is the way to go...Also TCS,Infosys had training campuses in kerala,Mysore e.t.c.. Those also can be tried if anyone interested as that does not need to worry any natural calamities once a century.... But Tourism has BIG potential and nothing was done in that direction..Last Tourism project was Kailsagiri and that't it after that nothing except grabbing lands.... Ramanaidu stuido is also not a serious one if we see what he got benefits for that... Easy thing is Night life permission should be given(Many may not like and evem I sometimes can't think where that leads....But economically seems to be the way to go on outside city beach areas) } | ||

First skyscraper of Vishakapatnam is coming up in the heart of the city with first of its kind domain-specific incubation and innovation centre on marine, power and petroleum to encourage small and medium IT players and startups. The project will be joint venture of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority and Software Technology Parks of India (Ministry of Information Technology). The project will be coming at 1.2 acres site at Siripuram between VUDA office and HSBC. STPI had allotted 16 Crore for setting up the tower. VUDA’s share will be in the form of land as its equity. Initial proposal is that the tower will be have 10 to 12 floor tower with 1.25 lakh square ft. The State government is already trying to woo in big ticket IT companies to set up campuses in Visakhapatnam, It is said that CapGemini had evinced interest in setting up a campus in Vishakapatnam. | ||
