We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of a recent immigrant to Canada, Sri Murali Krishna Kanthamneni, a 49 year old software engineer, native of Vijayawada. Murali Krishna has always been a caring husband and a strong support to his wife during the period of her long term illness. He was a loving father to his young 15 year old daughter who he has cared for bravely since the time he lost his wife. Mr Murali Krishna immigrated to Canada in 2014, seeking better opportunities for himself as well a better future for his daughter. In this past year, he has been seeking an opportunity where he could use his skills to obtain a job that he could support himself and his young daughter. Unfortunately, last Saturday, April 4th 2015, he had a major stroke caused by a blood clot in his brain and things worsened the next day as he had a major heart attack resulting in a cardiac arrest and subsequent swelling in his brain. He was eventually declared "brain dead" and life supports were withdrawn yesterday. Prior to removing his life support, some of his vital organs were harvested to give the gift of life to other people. Mr. Murali Krishna leaves behind a young daughter who has lost both her parents, his mother, sister and brother-in-law who live in Vijayawada, India. TANA's TEAM Square is making necessary arrangements, while our local volunteers Anil Lingamaneni, Gangadhar Sukhavasi, Meena Mulpuri are coordinating with Murali's family members and the funeral home. TANA is seeking your help and contributions to send his body to India for final rites. As you are aware, TANA TEAM Square has been helping at least one to two families a week that are involved in similar catastrophic incidents, but did not seek donations for a long time.
