I guess I let it go without anything, I not even bothered with revenge. I just gave up and wished for true happiness that comes with freedom. I lost valuable years of my life. I guess because I was not tough like many of these girls I was put through mental and physical torture. I blame it all in this patriarchal marriage system that does not let the couple have good understanding of each other before marriage. You should not just know what the other person likes\dislikes before getting married. You should also know what makes your significant other happy and angry too. You need to understand how they manage money, just like how girls expect the man to pay for everything, why should the man not expect to have a lady who will take care of him financially too? I guess it is high time Indian couples give up on their stereotypical gender duties. If every girl wants her husband to help her in kitchen and home she should also reciprocate his help by spending and sharing the household expenditures and pay for the restaurant and going out bills. Also your parents are your responsibility, don't expect or force your spouse to pitch in for you. If they offer to help appreciate it but stop expecting. Key to happiness is to not keep any expectations from anyone. All girls and boys out there are good, but they need to treated in a kind way to keep their goodness intact. | ||

yeah very sad for you. saw how families break up because of this crap. even when it's settled, some relationships are damaged permanently. one case, the girl dragged in the boy's sister whose family is very highly placed. the case has been withdrawn now but this sister-brother relationship suffered. they don't even talk any more since the sister's side family was deeply hurt and they decided to cut off. here the girl was a lawyer and the family is full of lawyers. racha racha chesi odilaaru. she knew the defense lawyer, the police inspector, the judge was her father's friend. asalu complete mess for the boy. another case was a police family. motham family ni jail lo ettesaaru the night before the boy's sister's marriage. imagine. | ||
