There are 4 main things for picking this region and many by this time you know 1-Kirshna river 2-Islands in River which are very rare in India that has steady water control(or can maintain same level) 3- Amaravathi- First capital and longest kingdom for Andhradesam 4- Hills(there are many hills but for now I will talk that big hill in picture) If you see those pictures 1st one is Penumaka Hill that acts as wall to Capital from East...because of this Hill this area never seen Cyclone effect and in our villages we never seen even a tree falling(there are couple of exceptions)... For long time(hearing it but never done any work) there is a plan to put Rope way from this hill to Bhavani island... This hill one side has "Undavalli Caves" that dates back to Andhra's history along with Amaravati.... YOu can see that caves in the piccture I posted next to Kondaveti vagu.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undavalli_caves#/media/File:Lor d_Vishnu_.jpg For now this particular hill provide little bit of Greenary...There are lot of other plans for future but for know they just add good look to capital... Also Singapore proposed TRAM route along hill so that there is no need to put any overbridges...But lets see final... But the bad part is there are tons of Rattle Snakes on this hill...people do trekking but with some care}} | ||
