Trying to help a colleague in India .. not sure if this is the right place to post.. but i saw in the past some of the people coming forward to these causes. Message from colleague - I write this mail with great pain and at the same time with guilt, but due to my family's dire need of financial help, I am unable to stop myself from requesting your generous help. My brother’s son, who is just 6 years old, was diagnosed with blood cancer (T-ALL) in July-2014, and he was admitted in the hospital for BFM-95 protocol treatment. We have spent around 16 lakhs Indian Rupees (US$ 27,000) for the initial treatment so far. But unfortunately the Cancer has relapsed after 9 months of treatment; we would require another 30 to 40 lakhs (US$ 65,000) to treat early relapse T-ALL and Bone Marrow transplant. His condition is getting worse day by day, and I am at a loss of words to describe his sufferings; and the physical and mental torture he undergoes during his treatment and Chemotherapy. We can't bear this huge amount at the moment, as my brother and I have ended up spending our entire savings for the initial treatment. We have tried all possible ways to arrange the money required for his treatment, but the amount is way beyond our reach. We are in a state of despair, as time is running out for my nephew unless Samaritans like you offer your kind and generous support. For my nephew's cause, I am looking for your help to raise funds to save his innocent and precious life. With folded hands I once again request you to do whatever little bit you can, to stop him being snatched away from us in this cruel manner.
