the crucial thing is the the over before...dhawan got a big hit AFAIR and last ball of the that over ...he ran a very very hard two runs down to 3rd man...he was gassed and has minor drinks break you are already on a high after the big shot... you pushed yourself for the 2nd run (nasser was saying about dhawan and big match performance...cue the commentator curse here) he was walking on this air by the time he was on strike next over...started a premeditated stroke out without plan B...dhamaal same thing happened in safas game...ater 50 he was too aggressive on parnell and got dropped at B.point 7-8 more overs of him batting...there could have been some chance to chase... | ||

he shuffles a lot to outside off..there are only two areas you can bowl to contain him.. you pack your leg side..try yorker length on leg and middle.. or pack your off side with some cover in midwicket and mid on..and bowl further outside off.. short balls is not the strategy for him.. | ||

There are minor things we made wrong decisions which costed us the game India Bowling. 1. Yadav warner wicket teesukunaka, he was continued for some more bowling, akkada Australia got runs.... 2. 11th over taravata 1 over kohli ki icharu, akkada kohli ki ivakunda....spin tho 20 overs veyinchi unte with likes of raina/rohit etc part time bowlers.....Finch out ayye vaadu. alage Australia in these overs scored 30 runs extra by some bad bowling by Yadav. 3. Never had a plan for Smith batting, migitha all batesman ki we had plan including Finch, who just survived survived survived. 4. Maxwell wicket was classic, but MJ tho last lo oka 30 runs extra icham India Batting, 1. Dhawan and Rohit decided to go after the bowling at 13th over, this was blunder and dhawan just thrown away his wicket its total mistake. Dhawan should have waited for few more overs, enduku ante next oche bowlers would have been watson and Maxwell 2. Kohli weakness exposed yesterday.....he cannot square cut a bowl i was shocked when he was pulling a ball that needs to be steered to third man. Kohli can bat only on On Side with pace bowling. 3. When Kohli was out, next batesman should have been Dhoni and not rahane For future knock tournaments....... 1. Jadeja needs to be gone - A leg spinner who is pinch hitter needs to take his place. 2. Dhoni should stop keeping wickets, and provide a place for KL Rahul who can keep wickets 3. We need Pace bowler who can replace Yadav, Yadav needs to go to pace bowler especially likes of waqar/allan donald who will teach him Off swing for the kind of pace he generates and also teach him bowling length bowls. Final Note - Australia did not win, India lost. |
