Just by beating DS many years back one doesn't become influential. I'll tell you who the influential BJP leaders in TS are and why: 1. Dattatreya - Second time Union Minister and this time with independent charge. Need I say more? 2. Kishan Reddy - Party state unit president. Held that post even in united AP. 3. G Lakshman - Senior MLA ••• floor leader in the assembly right now and a loyal BJP leader from a long time. 4. P Muralidhar Rao - General Secretary of the party. Served as incharge in other states, well connected with the leadership in Delhi. Well educated. 5. N Ramachandra Rao - Some of you may think he just won today but you must understand that he is a Sr. Advocate and member of bar council of India. The Union Law Minister himself came down to campaign for him. And he got this ticket despite losing in the assembly elections last year and losing twice in this graduates constituency in the past. Indrasena Reddy may have some say too by virtue of being the party president for United AP in the past. Baddam Bal Reddy is another senior leader and loyal worker but he was always unfortunate in elections against MIM. Raja Singh is a new generation mass leader but he isn't intelligent enough to influence strategic decisions. | ||
