The driver was waiting in the parking lot of the Apartment complex.He gave an offical statement which came in local TV channels and newspaper - he was waiting for DK Ravi to come down as he was on duty. This is not a private apartment complex - This was IAS Officers' quarters (where IAS officers stay with their families) and this is also close to the Adugodi Police Academy. And DK Ravi was staying with his In Laws since he got transferred to Blr in Oct 2014. He got possession of the Quarters recently and his wife did not shift to the quarters yet - they were in the process of shifting.
