my view. Lankans have displayed a uncharacteristic softness in the way approached the game. Right from 1st over they looked like they were under some sort of mental block. they are usually gritty and put up a fight, in every situation. but yesterdays game was entirely under SA's control. SA bowlers bowled hard, appealed harder, celebrated like soccer players after every wicket, while SL batsmen hitout like Rohith sharma in trance. I have rarely seen Mahela got out the way he did! SA is trying to make a point, and I am glad the way their players supported each other. If Gary Kirsten had anything to do with, i will bow to him. thats what was missing all along, a kluseneresque cool and hard fight. will they maintain it? Hope so for the good of the game. Individually their bowlers are very good, but during a game, they lose the grip of proceedings and fall into mediocracy, and yesterday they did not let that happen. Lankans will find it hard to understand what transpired. Bangla will try their best against india, will the indians pull their socks and make it harder for them. Indian fielding has slipped in the last two games, and i think that will be a key in today's game. No room for complacency |
