The fact (as confirmed by his own signed letter published in his toilet paper) that he made his mother wait for several weeks for Sonia Gandhi' appointment with utter disregard to Telugu pride in front of an Italian. The fact (as confirmed by video footage) that he made his sister and mother go and meet elders in Congress high command multiple times to beg for giving him a significant post. The fact that during the last days of UPA REGIME, the advocates representing CBI were transferred out and replaced by newbies who made weak arguments against Jagan's ball petition and the Joint Director as well as DIG of CBI investigating against Jagan were not given extension and their posts were kept vacant so that nobody can carry forward the investigation resulting in the CBI telling the Nampally special court that they don't have any more material to file further chargesheets and failed to gather evidence in the matter that was supposed to lead to one more chargesheet. The fact that after Jagan sent the widow of YSR to Delhi, the UPA government did a shocking at of not going even to High Court to appeal the grant of bail to Jagan by the Nampally special court. Normally, bail to a person facing such serious criminal charges would routinely be appealed in High Court and maybe even Supreme Court. The judiciary in the country maybe working reasonably well but if the government doesn't even take it in front of the higher judiciary, what can they do? Jagan, his mother, and his sister shamelessly proclaiming that they are political prostitutes and will go to whoever comes to power in the center (it us a different matter that BJP refused to entertain them). Are these acts of bravery? Jagan repeatedly asking if Jaitley,Modi, or Rajnath told anybody about what he spoke to them in private discussions but not saying even once that he didn't ask them to interfere in the process of justice by impeding the investigation against him like what Sonia did. |
