Couple of weeks back maa collegue ellochadu annay ..with visa on arrival to India.. he has applied reqeust in online, uploaded photo.. after 1 day he got the approval .. took that printout and visited and came back. If you know your travel date for sure then you MUST apply for online visit visa at least four days or more earlier. Once you fill the form (you cannot go to next page if your travel date is less than four days or so), and pay fees online you get a paper to print out. Take it to any valid airport in India and there you go. Successfully tried by my friend from NJ few months back. Enjoy. PIO card Jan nunchi stop chesar...you need to apply OCI card from now. Process will take close to 2 months ani cheparu.. old PIO cards will be converted to OCI..i.e..permanent visa to Indian Origin persons.. these are my findings recently. ...all izz well... | ||

PIO card couple of days lo vachestundi. naaku DC 1 hour drive, so personal ga velli submit chesi, next day velli techesukunna. so if indian embassy is near to you, better take PIO card ani na adi | ||

i am not sure about any issues, but i saw this facility in banglore airport few months back, should be simple, taking tourist visa here is not at all hard, submit in ny, you will get same day or next day, very simple | ||

Has anyone used this facility? this is for my son who doesn't have PIO/OCI card and we can't apply it now as we have to travel in 2-3 weeks. Last time we have applied indian tourist visa but that was exhausting process spoke to indian visa call center rep and he said we can apply for visa on arrival.. and entire process is online.. sounds too good to be true.. but kids tho traveling so last min issues emaina vuntaayemo in this method ani checking Don't say you don't have enough time.
