Thokkalohdi:this is gross injustice to people who gave away land in land pooling. Because, if govt doesnt acquire 2K land... those farmers down the line will convert all their 2K into real estate and make10 times more money than a farmer participated in land pooling.. because he will only get 1/5th of the land he has donated.

Pawan piccha pizza hut loo petta. What the heck is he saying. 90% of the farmers gave land, but I won't allow the remaining 10% to be acquired by force? So why would only the 90% of the farmers have to sacrifice? The only solution is if the entire process is nullified, which won't happen. And if Pawan really wanted the pooling to fail, why the hell did he wait until Feb. 28th, on which most of us had to surrender our 9.3s?! Mind boggling, Pawan with his weird logic. At this rate, Jagan behaved much more like a leader with some cohesive vision in the long term interests of the state even though he could have played cheap politics. Cheap tactics from Pawan.

Ramramesh:Our land is somewhat close to Gokaraju garu. We gave our 9.3 only after he gave his land to pooling. I am a little concerned about how much CBN will give in to pressure.
Even if he gives in those lands will be good only for agricultural purposes and no development will be allowed so while quantum of your land holding might have come down but price wise you'll be having the last laugh.

I still respect Pawan for his honesty. However, I always felt that Pawan was an articulate speaker, but a lot of what he said today is self-contradictory. Above all, how does Pawan expect the 2000 acres alone will be exempted from land pooling? What will happen to all the 97% of the farmers who already gave their land for pooling? The 3% of farmers even when they go to court, they will mostly lose and their land will be acquired. What sort of an agitation will Pawan do? Singure type agitation?
He said that he will support industrial development, but land should not be given to industries! Lands ivvaka money nu leka, should AP build a farm shed for a capital?
At least Jagan kept quiet as it seems like he doesn't want to obstruct the capital, which should help AP in the long run.
I have great respect for Pawan, but honestly this wasn't a productive trip for anyone. |

It's true. He is opposed to Land acquisition in AP but won't campaign against land acquisition act. What sort of an illogical claim is this? So, he wants to oppose CBN in the state but not Modi in the centre! 33000 acres needed aa anta? If they are not needed, why were you sleeping so far until they were pooled? At least Jaggad kept quiet because he didn't want a negative image in the state. I think a lot of what Pawan said is self-contradictory. Pawan has unnecessarily visited the villages, in my personal opinion, Jaggad was much more refined in what he spoke. Jagan 1 Pawan 0 so far in my opinion. It almost looks like the entire trip was preplanned in a certain way, as all signs indicate that Betapudi will be declared a green belt. |
