Power has been lined up long back by 2017 peak power demand would be 350MW so for 8km stretch it'll be 45-50MW so not a huge quantum of power IMO. That being said hyderabad metro might not be inaugurated this Ugadi because feeder buses have not been lined up till now from Mettaguda to sec bad station. Also three RoBs were supposed to be constructed before metro operations start between mettaguda to railway station stretch. Only couple of months back did railways give permission to go ahead with construction so all in all chances of Ugadi inaguration look bleak. If KCR takes it as a prestige issue then can force L&T to go ahead with operations In it's current state it'll not serve any purpose of easing traffic but will make it worse. Mostly looking at dussera or Jan1'st 2016 inaguration dates but it'll be nagole - begumpet and miyapur to SR nagar which will be done. Metro ki seperate dedicate power suplly untundi. They will secure Metro may not consume much power All the Best for Hyd Metro Project , hopefully it will reduce the traffic issues of Hyd and make like peaceful in coming 4-5 years | ||

Metro rail ki kaavalsina power supply evaru chesthaaru .. It was supposed to be given by AP transco when the project started .. Now with states being divided and AP Transco being divided and resources to be shared based upon the consumption at that time .. T will get it's share .. Ippudu Metro rail start avuthee for sure gaa aa share anedhi T ki unna Power share lo ninchi velaali .. Already power starved state lo metro rail start avuthundhi ante .. Darunamaina power shortage untadhi .. Unless i am missing some thing here .. Shed some thoughts |
