Nenu kooda ee week ee vachaanu.. Abudhabhi lo chala cool ga ayipoyindi.. only one questions asked by immigration officer (are you on H1). bags scanned photo choopinchi is it yours ani adigaadu. i have 1.5kg of pickles few snacks and few bhiryani masala items and 2 kg of jagri. emi analedu.. only problem is flight got delayed. First airlines problem tho 2 hours delayed taruvata oka mental daani valla inko 1.5 hr delay. | ||

hmmm… usually they are not allowed to do it but airlines assist vallani adigithe vallu chestharu Indian cities have their share of problems, but they are also places where you can walk around their shadiest areas at 1 am and be safer than say parts of Chicago, NYC, London, Madrid, Sydney etc... | ||

Good to know this. In fact I never cared this as we never bring anything that sort.This time we were getting it for an MS student who was struggling here so his family gave lot of stuff. Because they are mapping ticket<=>bags in system automatically there is high chance you are caught in Abudhabhi in customs than in US ports.. By the time I went to him for immigration he had scanned pictures of my bags with details of what's inside each  | ||

First of all Thanks OT for the Ethihad offer you shared on December 25th. I knew lot of people that day(December 25th when OT posted offer) booked Ethihad so just wanted to share my experience with Abudhabhi. -Immigration officer asked me too many questions that I never got asked(whom do you work? Why you are not with company you got GC with? I went out 5 times after switching GC company and never got this question asked in US port of entry!!!! - He showed our bags on screen one by one and pointed out we have Lenthil dal and Rice floor(idly ravva) packs(never knew rice floor we have to report so told him same and he laughed) - Not made an issue but he asked why you guys bring floors from India? He was not at all arrogant but professional and it seems they are following immigration and customs process more systematically than in US port of entry. 1) In Abudhabi we have free shower close to USA boarding and that was good to refresh 2) Kids play area(not so great) 3) Also if you have time get into terminal-3 area(This is USA boarding area and there you have sofa seats to sleep if emtpy) Make sure ladies don't put any vegetables or meat things(there is high chance you are caught in Abudhabi as they are mapping each of our bag to our ticket automatically) |
