More than a decade back, when Simhadri released, almost the entire film industry assumed that NTR would be the next superstar in the industry after Chiranjeevi retires. However, once a film becomes a huge hit and ups the expectations tremendously, it is not easy to replicate such success time and again. And like many heroes, NTR Jr too has been struggling ever since to get a huge break. After Simhadri, everyone were of the opinion that NTR would get a blockbuster with Temper once again. Though the young Tiger did have his share of hits like Yamadonga, Brindavanam, Baadshah, none of them could match the success of Simhadri. Where his contemporaries were making Rs 50 crores films, NTR had only one film that crossed the Rs 40 crore mark in Baadshah. NTR too was waiting for the big break to satiate his desire and his fans enthusiasm. But Temper too did not do the magic for him. The film is not likely to breach the Rs 50 crore mark say industry analysts. Though the film did amazing business in the first week, as per collections trends it might make anything between Rs 42 crores to Rs 45 crores say industry insiders.
