He added that investors will have the option of remaining in its cement business, cricket or both." I am not sure how they will compensate folks who do not want to hold the CSK shares. If i were a shareholder, am not sure i would want to hold shares in CSK. Sports franchisees are not big money spinners and moreover all these IPL franchisees are even more so. More often than not, they are just prestige holdings for the owners and not for the financial gains. | ||

Free ga emundhi...anyway they were the indirect holders. They are just demerging the company, demerger results in a mirror shareholding, so the same shareholding of India Cements would be replicated in CSK. But here the option appears to have been given to the shareholders to own shares in CSK or not. So Srini may still hold his share in CSK unless he renounces his shareholding and prefers to retain it in IC. This is a very funny demerger scheme that i have never seen before. Now CSK will be a public listed company and its financials will be up for everyone to analyse. | ||
