Don't take any chances. Sign up for insurance. Obamacare is a good idea. The reason why they shouldn't go self pay is pregnancy outcome can be unpredictable, and what if the baby is born prematurely or has issues at delivery and needs to spend time in NICU? The bill can sometimes run into thousands of dollars. Don't expect the hospital to write that off just because you tell them you can not pay or you ask nicely. | ||

Rowdy This is INCORRECT.. if you go with OBAMACARE then they will cover preexisting, if you want to buy insurance after enrollment where OBAMACARE is not available then pre-exisiting doesn not cover. This is first hand information in 2014.... Not sure if the rules are changed in 2015 | ||
