.ds_store okkate problem kaadu when I am copying mp3 or pics or other files from my mac to a external hard disc to be used on a Windows machine it's unnecessarily creating "._" files. Lets say I have 50o pics, it's creating 500 "._" image files with each 4kb. problem with those ugly trash "._" files not space | ||

why do you think it is a problem? .ds_store has meta info about the folder. It hardly takes any space. What is the issue if you see those files? | ||

Yes. I did that. But mine is personal machine. I didn't see any issues in Finder. May be they are referring that issue if multiple macs connect to network and data shared by multiple users | ||
