Chiranjeevi reportedly instructed that he do not want Brahmanandham in Vaitla's next with Ram Charan. Chiru was clear that it is Charan who should take the credit of the film and not a comedian. Vaitla was instructed to take Tamil comedian Santhanam in the role. Chiranjeevi is of the opinion taking Santhanam will also get the movie good craze in Tamil Nadu if released simultaneously. The regular shooting of the movie will begin in February 9th and the regular shooting will begin from March 21st on the occasion of Ugadi. Samantha is finalized as the heroine beside Charan.
