BLS is a trusted third party only to issue/renew passports on regular process. However, one need to get the tatkal process approved at a consulate by a consulate general. My Process: (as many mentioned below calling BLS is waste of time) Step1: write a letter to explain why you need a tatkal? to Embassy/Consulate General of India Step2: Get it approved at Consulate. Step3: Apply renewal application along with the letter. Collect a receipt number (3 day process) Step4: Show the receipt at the window on the third day (anybody with that receipt can collect your passport or they can mail it via fedex with additional fee) | ||

My wife's friend currently living in NC.. her license expired on Jan 1st.. renew seddam ani choosukonte..she could not find Passport.. she gave a police report ..that is where it ended.. BLS India vallu emo you have to get Authorization from Washington Consulate antunnar anta.. Washington lo emo evadu phone ethadledu anta.. any suggestions from DBers ?? |
