I want to tell one trick for a typical condition, worked for my brother-in-law to save a lot of money. My BIL came to US, got his license. Trying to buy a car. I have figured out that if he buys his insurance by himself, he would get hit by the higher premium with his no-US driving record, new driver, new car etc.. So, I have registered the new car on my name. I have added him and his wife as Additional Drivers while me and my wife as registered drivers. For his new Accord with two new drivers, it came to $270/6 months with 100/300/100 and 5000 medical coverage, with 500 comprehensive and collision deductible (all discounts like multicar multi driver ... professional group etc were applied). IF he goes on his own , he may end up in paying close to 100/month | ||

here is the secret for getting good quote. keep changing insurance firms once every year or two and when ever u change make sure u get a lower quote than the current one then only change. these guys share a common database and always try to beat the current price. oka company to 7 years unte company marite there would not be a sudden decrease in quote max couple of hundreds. been with gico from 7 years..until last year my premium was 76$ per month (2 ppl). moved to different state now and my premium went to 110$. why this change....suggest me if there are any other options to get better deal. |
