I think these numbers are inflated too. Jagan may have been worth about 5K to 10K crores in 201 and now he may be worth less than 1000 crores. What do you think?

What you said sounds very reasonable! I find it hard to believe that people earn so much and even the election expenses are inflated when media reports and people gossip. What you said sounds very realistic.
What do you think about Jagan's one lakh crores or Gali Janardhan Reddy's tens of thousands of crores? If they really made so much money, won't they be able to nurture and develop half the constituencies in their states and get an invincible strength in those constituencies and form the state government?
I think these numbers are inflated too. Jagan may have been worth about 5K to 10K crores in 201 and now he may be worth less than 1000 crores. What do you think?

When I hear about an average politician's earnings during a single term as MLA or MP, I hear hundreds of crores and sometimes even thousand or more crores.

single term loo "hundreds of crores" sampaadincha galige Mlas 1% koodaa vundaru!!

Inquisitive:

Why then do I hear that election expenses for an average MLA are about 10 crores

average Mla election expense is definitely less than 5 crores....in fact, 3 crores range loo vuntai anukuntunna max seats....10 crores pette seats ekkadoo okati vuntaii

When I hear about an average politician's earnings during a single term as MLA or MP, I hear hundreds of crores and sometimes even thousand or more crores. Why then do I hear that election expenses for an average MLA are about 10 crores and average MP are about 25 crores? I know there are some hotly contested seats where election expenses are a lot more. But it doesn't make any sense to me that people are not willing to spend even a quarter of the expected earnings!
I know that politicians spend a lot of money even during their term but I am not taking that expense into account because the hundreds of crores they earn are after deducting such expenses!
