Holo is completely different than Gear VR.. Holo is more likely to be used for business meetings and demos at workplace with windows 10 as default OS, however in gear VR you can put your Note 4 and watch TV,Videos, Play Games and even interact with your friend over skype or any other remote sharing app. http://i.imgur.com/eI7517s.jpg?1 | ||

you don't need do build a display (TV) to do all this... it can be done with a box that connects to existing TV. Moreover the money is in content distribution where Apple likes to take advantage of its own ecosystem. There are barely any margins on TVs which is not a promising field to venture in. Even if Apple comes out with path breaking TV, people don't upgrade them like mobile phones every 2 years. | ||
