Movie is very good and as usual AKKI, KHER etc rocked and was surprised to see a good role for TAPSI! Yes I agree that for the kind of actor in KAY KAY he could have been utilized better!! Go WATCH IT! PAWAN is like NBK for me from now on! | ||

Brilliant movie. One get so much into it, you cant realize movie is actually inspired from zero dark thirty and argo screenplay & scenes End lo police officer, let them leave is too compromised.. to show many ME east too are against terror, which is a joke | ||

Even the climax part of it has been based on manhunt for Yasin Bhaktal in Nepal & then getting him back to India along with Haddi of SIMI rather than Argo that MSM wants us to believe. Cultivate discipline rather than waiting for motivation to miraculously strike and cure your inactivity. | ||

Why even go into flaws? Did we do this with Pk or ek tha tiger? Spy thrillers tend to have them by dime a dozen and if they didn't it'll be boring to watch it on the screen. Nepal Kidnapping was actually based on a real story of picking up Yashin Baktal but was generous with distorting the facts of actual operation. Let's get to the point first - This is a fantastic movie. Period. Plot - Story of an Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) headed by Akshay involving chasing Terrorists across countries. Analysis - Neeraj Pandey is without doubt one of the best directors going around. Look at his resume - A Wednesday, Special 26 and now this.....a fantastic spy thriller dealing with Terrorism. The pace of the movie is set high from the beginning and just keeps getting pulsating with every minute right to the climax. Just doesn't let up. There are more than 4-5 missions which take place and everyone of them go at breakneck speed and engage you completely. The movie deals with the biggest problem India and the World is facing today - Terrorism. And it deals with it in the most effective Bollywood style it could come up with. Infact, it wudnt have been out of place as a mid-budget Holly movie. Sure, it takes influences from A Wednesday, D-Day & Argo, which isn't a bad thing if you ask me. Overall, it was even better than D-Day as an action oriented Terrorist Thriller. Somehow was reminded of Sarfarosh, which was treading similar lines with a Big Hero and a great content. Though it has its stereotypes, it stays off a lot of commercial elements like romance, songs, etc. Special mention to the fantastic cast Neeraj has assembled. Everyone just seem so perfect and in sync with their role. Akshay was great and so were everyone else. Tapsee was a surprise package and gets prime time. Share of flaws??? Ya, influenced from a lot of famous movies, ending seemed a bit anti climatic and wud hav liked to see some of the cast utilised better like Kay Kay and Rana, who cud hav done with a much anticipated fight scene. But in the larger context - $crew them. This is nearly as good as the genre gets. I know it for a fact and shall be sad for it - This movie might not even collect half of what PK has collected, or any of commercial hits from the other Khans, which is a real shame. More than God & Godmen, it is these kind of movies that we need more of - Showing Terrorism for what it actually is, showcasing a lot of real heroes who are giving their lives for us, giving hope to people that we might even pull off this long war against Terrorism. So, to end it, instead of nitpicking the flaws in the movie, just go and enjoy this movie for what it is. It might have really happened and we may never know it. This is a MUST WATCH! |
