@Jalsa, I used Allianz, the same one you are looking up. Planned a trip to south america, India lo family health emergency valla drop ayyamu. They wanted a doctor certificate, I didn't want to ask the Doc in India(family ki telustundi ani), So I provided Allianz all medical records from the day disease was diagnosed and they paid me back. Catch is, anything should be diagnosed after trip protection is bought and this will cover for immediate family too(parents and inlaws emergency). Not sure if it will cover for preexisting case like you. | ||

I bought it in airline site itself. They give you option before checkout. They would cover most of the stuff but only unplanned stuff. Sudden ga jarigevi.. i paid 5$ per ticket.. 4 tickets. I am happy that i took it.. i got back all the money including parking, hotel, baggage delay etc.. Make sure you keep each and every receipt . Other wise it would be tough to get the money. | ||

I used it .. My flight was cancelled before flying and i had to book other flight which costed me premium parking etc.. they payed me all the amount upto 1500$.. My actual ticket was 400$.. it was inside usa. | ||

Desam trip plan cheyali. But, with kid's health uncertainity, I want to take some trip protection - esp for cancellation. Kayak lo book chestuntey oka option undhi - alliance partners or something for 54$ per ticket. Did any one use such protection and are there any other alternatives like AMEX or Discover card providing? |
