This is the main problem in Hyd. Strong zoning regulations lekapoyi, daridram ga thayaru ayindi city. Even an idiot with 200 sq yards starts an apartment project. Prathi building lo fancy centres, curry points, battala kotlu etc. Delhi and Bangalore lo zoning is slightly better. Delhi is very strong in zoning and that is why the appreciation has been phenomenal. One has to be visionary about what city one wants. I am sure that the new capital will not be any better. All of these farmers getting land in the capital will start opening curry points, biryani centres, bus ticket counters. From Kukatpally to Secunderabad or Kachiguda, you will not find one stretch of 50 yards without a shop. Hyd is a city of shop keepers. But in Bangalore, this is not the case.
