Reason I went with 2040 was, I was planning to setup three zones. One being theaterm One for audio outside of the theater, and one for audio upstairs in the kitchen. I will rethink about this and consider 1040.
Will do. I have been to Best Buy twice to listen to B&W. That was my first choice. Somehow I did not feel like they justify the price tag, may be bad choice of audio samples I listened to, not sure. Will do the same with Infinity sets too.
Term "tuner" threw me off, now I get it. :-) I understand now what I need to do. Thank you for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it. | ||

Dreamcatcher - benq1080st antey short throw projector which is cool.. But beware you have to position it correctly (centering and height of the screen from lens etc).. This projector while good does not have horizontal lens shift like others | ||

You insert the CableCard from your provider (like Comcast), connect cable as input. Connect the ethernet output to your home network. The site gives list of clients that can tune to HDHomerun products. With PRIME, you can have 3 different clients watch live TV independently. If the client happens to be a computer running Windows Media Center (MCE), then you can have TV Guide, DVR features also. It does not have to be NUC computer. I am using NUCs because they are tiny, powerful and noise free. You can use any computer though. | ||

OK. Back to business. You step down one model (RX-A1040) on the Receiver, if you want to save $500. You would not notice much difference on the power output anyway. BenQ W1080ST projector is sweet. Good price and best performance. The Infinity speaker set great for $2000. If I were you, I would visit few audio stores and listen, check on deals. There is lot of mark up on speakers and they can offer good deals. See if there are any audio stores by you who sell brands like B&W, Paradigm, Monitor Audio, PSB, Kef, Thiel... brands. SVS Subwoofer is the best you can get. No regrets. | ||

Besides theater, we have 3 TVs to feed programming to. What is the best setup to achieve this. Is replacing the cable box with a HDHomerun Prime and setting up a NUC next to each TV would work? When they say Prime can support three tuners, what do they mean? | ||
