Gringo:

Thanks Gringo for sharing this..Very interesting to read !! It is nice to know that current generation are coming out of the CONGRESS LAW MAKERS who highlighted the history of India more on the Mughual & British Period. There was so much history prior to Mughuls on this great land.

But few observations if questions the authenticity (validated or not) :

1. 3120 BC - Kurukshtera...but Mahabharata was written only in 200 BC and Bhagadvita in 100 bc..I thought both these epics were documented during the time of Mahabharata. Krishna was the king of dwarka during 3120 bc which was validated by the National Geograpghic from the ruins of Dwarka city they discovered in Arbian sea. So bhagvad geeta should have been documented by then...Just my observation.

2. Akbar - I remember reading that Akbar was 13 years when he was made the Mughual Emperor in 1556. Within 4 years by 1560 he would have NOT sent Bairam Khan to exile. By 17 years was he so efficient that he could rule all by himself ? Just my doubt.

Whateever it is, we need to preserve the past to show the way to the future. It is unfortunate that in India specially in AP & Telangana..children was brain washed for MATHS & Computers so that they get into engineering & then go to US for MS and then some software job. ARTS Subjects like History, Civics, Geography, Economics needs to gain more importance in our education system.
