Need to travel by 15-Jan-2014 with an infant. I didn't apply for VISA or PIO card yet. Here are the options that I have from what I read so far: 1. ETA (Visa On-arrival): ee option baane undi. But only -ve point is that the VISA is valid for just 30 days. If at all we had to stay back for few more days...how? ela? When I asked 24*7 customer executive he said no documentation on that...annadu  It is clearly stated that you cannot extend more than 30 days ani. But exceptional cases/emergency situations how to handle ante...no documentation 2. Get Indian Tourist VISA: i called the CKGS guys and he clearly said they cannot guarantee anything about processing time. If I send the documents on Monday 22-dec-2014, it will take 3-5 days for CKGS guys to process the documents and then send it to Indian consulate. Here it can take up to 10 days. What I heard is that even if your VISA is approved on Monday...Cox guys don't post until Friday. I live near NYC so I can pick up ...I have that option. Is there any other way? faster and easier to get? I am free and can travel anytime and stay up to 2-3 days to get the VISA. Please advice. The best Odarpu |
