Te way my wife started managing our finances..
When we were newly married (I was a horrible hi spending bachelor).. When we started together.. Because of my mis management..we lost phone connection, paid fines etc.. So wifey said let me handle ( since she was not working I said why don't you take over and plan our future)..
No looking back sinc e then..
Gods grace ( my selection) never had an issue sending money or spending money on my side of the family,, she would do it herself.. Blessed |

AUTO-PAY for all of the above. 1st one setup by me and the rest 2 setup by HD and monitored by HD.

The above is me, but constantly reminded by HD to make sure that account has enough money to cover her credit card expenses for the previous month -
On a side note, while auto pay made our life's easier by not getting into late payment penalties etc., sometimes we end up paying disputed credit card charges and then we have to fight with the credit card company to get it refunded. Another draw back is we don't to get to check the credit card charges that thoroughly. |

On a side note, she made kids by a quote that says "Dad is THE BOSS" which has a fine print 'Mom said so' -

Except for few instances I make sure all my finances are jointly owned to make sure in case of any eventuality people left over are not suffered hanging around banks proving themselves to be the real heirs. This is IMP and I have few examples where there is a sudden demise of a person and she don't have any clue over what is what

I know one family (friends in US for almost decade and half) where she tries to send money to her puttillu in India secretly. gets the money from couple close friends (one is my HD).
