The Hyderabad Traffic Police (HTP) is soon going to launch a new mobile App which will make these wishes of Hyderabadis come true! The new App which is yet to be named will give the accurate information of traffic congestion in all the junctions and important routes of the city. âHyderabad Traffic Liveâ is the suggested name, but it is yet to be finalised. Using this app on mobile phones, the drivers can avoid busy routes and take alternative routes. Being connected with the Google Earth, the app is also capable of suggesting alternative routes to skip traffic jams. âThere are nine applications within the App and each of them will serve a different purpose,â Jitender, ACP, Traffic, Hyderabad, said. It is the first initiative of its kind by the city traffic police and it will be launched by the end of this month, he said. Talking further about the functions of the app, he said it is a multi-purpose app. âWe can also track the movement of vehicles using the application. This will help to catch stolen vehicles,ââ he said. |
