Bumper:
The command you used is to list all certs in the cacerts. grep for the cert you received and see if it has been imported properly. Cert import chesinappudu you should have used an alias kada, grep by that name. |

i alredy have a signed certificate bhayya. which is in File format right now. It showing 72 entries when i use this command on command line " keytool -list -keystore -cacerts " . All i need is how to install this on websphere using websphere console. Command line tho import cheatam easy but production lo access ledu.. |

Rajin:bumper just spoke one of my collegue this is how it works ani cheppadu... first identify key repository where you want to import certifiate get details of repository and send CSR form to CA ( certificate authority) they will send certificate , once you get certificate same key epository to import cheyyali( certificate is based on key respository kabatti it will not work for others) extensions of certications like( .ter .cer) will work like .p12 will not work...

websphere forum lo kuda post chesanu but evaru active ga leruu..evaraina helip chegalermo chudandii.. I have a certificate and i installed it in my local web sphere 8 and development environment successfully. I followed same procedure for my production environment but its not working. help me out where i am going wrong.Do i need to instruct the the different procedure for my production since may be they have different settings in their WebSphere. procedure i instructed to install the certificate. Security --> SSL Certificate and Key management --> KeyStores and Certificates --> new --> Entered my certificate path, certificate type and password. Clicked on that certificate and clicked on retrieve from port and entered Host and Port and alias name.. click on save button and restated the web sphere. please reply me back if you need more info. thanks in advance. |
