Ayana konedi, 4K TV ki connect cheyyataniki. 2012 mini has Intel HD Graphics 4000 with max resolution 1600p. That is not enough to drive 4K tv. | ||

yes. Old 2012 machines are better. there is not much difference between ivy bridge and haswell other than power savings. old mac mini ayite, you can easily upgrade memory, hdd and may be processor if you are so inclined. 2014 mac mini lo you cant upgrade even memory. Couple of things. Apple computers lo at the most $50 discount vaste ekkuva. See if your employer has any discounts or use student id. Scroll down to Mac Mini section on this link: http://prices.appleinsider.com If you see bigger sales that means they are selling previous generation product. Compare the specs against current model. See below for buyer's advice: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#Mac_Mini Since Mac Mini is just refreshed (Oct 2014), make sure you buy the latest. If you choose to get older models, you may get good discounts. Finally, I see you plan on using mac mini as htpc to drive 4K TV. Luckily, the newest mac support 4K resolution. Only Late 2014 minis are supporting based on this: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202856 One caveat. Right now, you may be connecting it directly to TV. Tomorrow, if you plan on getting a home theater (receiver and speakers), then mac machines do NOT output HD-Audio (like TruHD, DTS-HD, DD+) from bluray rips. This is a limitation by OS X (OTOH, Windows has no such limitation). Or, just buy a $50 bluray player as supplementary when you need it. | ||
